Peter B. Imrey, PhD, is on Staff in the Department of Quantitative Health Sciences at Cleveland Clinic's main campus and a professor of medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University. He was appointed in 2001. He also is an Affiliate Professor of Statistics for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign since 2002. His research interests include the analysis of multivariate categorical data; linear models; sample survey methods; quantitative epidemiology, and numerous areas of medical and public health application. Dr. Imrey received his PhD in biostatistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and joined the teaching staff there upon graduation. He then spent more than 25 years in tenured professor positions at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and at Chicago. He is the author of numerous papers and chapters and has co-authored the book, Analysis of Categorical Data. He serves on several boards and committees, including the Committee on Professional Ethics for the American Statistical Association and the Task Force on Design and Analysis in Dental and Oral Research. He is a member in numerous professional societies, including the American College of Epidemiology, American Statistical Association, Delta Omega and others.
